Tequila Beach Club Creates A New Mix With Rancho El Anca Horse Ranch In Costa Maya, Mexico.
MAJAHUAL, Costa Maya, Mexico (March 20. 2006) – The newest cruise port in the Caribbean is Puerto Costa Maya, which plays host to most of the cruise lines sailing the Western Caribbean. Until now the disembarking passengers would merely stroll through the many souvenir shops on the pier, be bussed off to the nearby Chacchoben Mayan ruins, or just kick back on the silky sands of Costa Maya.
The famous Tequila Beach Club located just minutes from the pier has just announced an adventure into Mayan culture and history with a unique tour of the exotic Rancho El Anca horse ranch. Upon arrival at the ranch, guests are welcomed by the friendly professional staff and introduced to their equine transport. These gentle tourist trained horses are anxious to carry their new “amigos” for a horseback ride through this awesome 900 acre ranch set in the midst of the Mayan Jungle!
After mounting Paloma, Satanas, Catrine, or any of the other fine horses, you will enter into an ancient world of a Mayan archaeological site, which appears to be a small Mayan village complete with tombs and architectural foundations built by the Mayans who lived here more than a thousand years ago. Your English speaking guide will reveal the mysteries of the Mayan culture, as well as point out the local flora and fauna which include Zapote trees, orchids, colorful tropical birds, iguanas and bright blue Morpho Peleides butterflies. The highlight of the ride is exploring the beautiful cenotes and natural springs of the area. After you have completed this tranquil two-mile, hour and a half excursion, the tour returns to the Tequila Beach Club where water sports and a palm tree lined white sand beach await you.
For those who decide to pass on fishing, snorkeling, or the many other water sports offered by Tequila Beach Club, cruise passengers can enjoy their favorite beverage and relax on a beach chaise lounge. While sharing the unforgettable stories and photos of the Rancho El Anca horseback adventure, they can gaze upon the spectacular view of the turquoise blue Caribbean waters, where the Great Mayan Reef is just a 1/4-mile from the beach. When it's time to eat, Tequila Beach Club offers an “Admirals Pass” lunch, which includes a succulent lobster served by gracious Mexican waiters who genuinely want to please.
There are more than a dozen cruise lines calling in at Puerto Costa Maya. No matter which cruise line or ship you sail, be sure to sample the unforgettable Mayan and Caribbean adventures offered by Rancho El Anca and the Tequila Beach Club.
